Fade Away comes from the desire to sonically merge two universes in strong contrast between each other. The creation of a soundscape evoking a lost wilderness through the shaping of audio material gathered from the most iconic sources of urban noise is the final stop on a journey in the name of transformation.

Walter Baccoli is a sound artist whose work gravitates around field recording, unwanted sounds and audio spatialization. His sound compositions, crafted around the intention to convey emotions while delivering strong messages, are the result of experimentation and constant discoveries.

“Attending the BA(Hons) Sound Design programme at The University of Greenwich has deeply influenced my approach to composition, defining and consolidating the creative process from both theoretical and practical points of view. I’m now focused on starting a freelance career in sound design for visual media.”
