Created to document the changes between different entropic states of water, this piece combines the states of water into one. Starting with the creaking and cracking of ice when room temperature water is poured on top of it. Liquid water starts running down the sink while the ice continues to crack. As the water continues to heat, we hear gas emerge. As the gas cools, we then hear the water fall from the air as rain.

Mateo Shefford:
Having worked in Mexico City as a junior sound designer previous to joining the University of Greenwich, I wanted to continue learning about sound design and new, creative applications for audio. I hope to continue working in the industry, while possibly staying on to take a master’s course.
