about

Conceived as the soundtrack to a silent found footage film documenting the demolition of Northampton power station in the mid-1970s, the piece is shaped to supply all the audio material for the film, though it was also intended to stand alone and be listened to on its own merits.

The sound sources are several self-built Hellitron tone generators and a radio, all used to evoke the industrial nature and atmosphere of the period in which the power station was being demolished
